Orçun Ilıcak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezer Uygu in the 17th minute of play. Yaşar Tuğyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Resul in the 18th minute of play. Mehdi Resul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mehdi Resul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orçun Ilıcak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezer Uygu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orçun Ilıcak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from kaya Harzemşah in the 33rd minute of the match. When Güngör Tunalı fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahirkapi's protests and gave Güngör Tunalı a yellow card for diving instead. Güngör Tunalı kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Sezer Uygu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezer Uygu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Halit Kaçan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bolluca SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halit Kaçan couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bolluca SK's zone, Sezer Uygu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orçun Ilıcak came out of the goal and Sezer Uygu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bolluca SK's Saip İlyas got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ahirkapi's zone, Halit Kaçan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Tuğyan came out of the goal and Halit Kaçan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Halit Kaçan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Tuğyan having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Ahirkapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güngör Tunalı to maneuver through the defense. Halit Kaçan might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yaşar Tuğyan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halit Kaçan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahirkapi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
