When Gökmen Terim came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the E&E FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökmen Terim couldn't finish the play. When TürkGücü FK's Baturay Canfeda, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for TürkGücü FK. The supporters of E&E FK booed when TürkGücü FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Osman İnanöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Baransel Serdaroğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TürkGücü FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E&E FK the free kick. In the 17th minute, Baransel Serdaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E&E FK's Tuna Berksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturay Canfeda in the 21st minute of play. Batıhan Adıgün kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gündüz Türegün, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kamber Hezarfen came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by E&E FK's Cengizhan Kırdar. But to his dismay, Cengizhan Kırdar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tuna Berksan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturay Canfeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baturay Canfeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TürkGücü FK's Baturay Canfeda got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baturay Canfeda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. TürkGücü FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gökmen Terim made a kick off. Cengizhan Kırdar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamber Hezarfen having to make a save. Kamber Hezarfen was a little too slow when Gökmen Terim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 60th match minute, TürkGücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cahit Sadiray to maneuver through the defense. TürkGücü FK were furious when Gündüz Türegün was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of TürkGücü FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of E&E FK:s goal. With a little luck, TürkGücü FK's Kamber Hezarfen got control of the ball when Baha Yalçuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes E&E FK got a freekick which was hit by Gökmen Terim. Baransel Serdaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Berksan having to interfere. Şeref Erbelgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tuna Berksan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cengizhan Kırdars short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Kamber Hezarfen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kamber Hezarfen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökmen Terim, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Baran Gürçınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamber Hezarfen having to interfere. If Cengizhan Kırdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 minutes, Baran Gürçınar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E&E FK and the TürkGücü FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 99th minute, Baran Gürçınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
