The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rasim İltemir during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Bahri Koçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaptan Toktamış hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eregli's Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Eregli's goalkeeper Alican Şahbaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yılmaz Andaç. Cumali Dural recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sahinbey JK! Bahtiyar Taner had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Alparslan Tongar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cumali Dural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cumali Dural managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eregli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cumali Dural was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahtiyar Taner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İldeniz Berkman's late challenge caught a Eregli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İldeniz Berkman helped the player get up and apologised. İldeniz Berkman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Cumali Dural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bahtiyar Taner. Bahtiyar Taner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bahtiyar Taner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen in the 53rd minute of the match. Yılmaz Andaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sahinbey JK's Yaşar Nuri Sağman suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Baybora Yaves's late challenge caught a Sahinbey JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baybora Yaves helped the player get up and apologised. Baybora Yaves hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bahtiyar Taner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eregli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cumali Dural could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Bahtiyar Taner made a huge save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sahinbey JK's Bahtiyar Taner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Sahinbey JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Macit Ulukaan to maneuver through the defense. Bahtiyar Taner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Ülkümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Cumali Dural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bahtiyar Taner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Demirhan Saygın notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sahinbey JK's Bahtiyar Taner. Bahtiyar Taner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eregli eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
