Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aykutalp Işılay kicked off to start the match. Muammer Seri charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muammer Seri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muammer Seri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the eskişehir spor defense, Tuncay Başhekim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sedat Laçin. The eskişehir spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sedat Laçin should have stopped the shot. Karhan Muammer might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sedat Laçin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karhan Muammer ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuncay Başhekim to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karhan Muammer got free with Sedat Laçin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şehzade Hacılar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, eskişehir spor's goalkeeper Sedat Laçin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karhan Muammer. Murathan Yaşar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Işılay in the 74th minute of play. When İbrahim İğdemir came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the eskişehir spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İbrahim İğdemir couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Aykutalp Işılay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aykutalp Işılay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
