In the 12th minute, Umur Üner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Batumi FC's zone, Devran Bulut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu came out of the goal and Devran Bulut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes in the game, Devran Bulut fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Birant Ötüken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lazebura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batumi FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Birant Ötüken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Lazebura's Iliyan Andreychev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Devran Bulut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Devran Bulut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Iliyan Andreychev took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu. Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Lazebura's Baykan Bayman got a free kick in the 44th minute. Batumi FC's Adem Namdar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lazebura.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Iliyan Andreychev in the 53rd minute of play forced Batumi FC's goalkeeper Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Lazebura's Devran Bulut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iliyan Andreychev, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Devran Bulut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iliyan Andreychev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şemsettin Hacıfettahoğlu having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Lazebura got a freekick which was hit by Göktürk Hançer. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lazebura fully deserved thier win.
