Özcan Ilıcan started the match with the kick off. samsun spor's Hayati Tuncer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Azimli in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atabek Azimli in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayati Tuncer saved samsun spor from getting behind. Atabek Azimli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayati Tuncer having to interfere. kaya Akgündüz's late challenge caught a Suluova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. kaya Akgündüz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, kaya Akgündüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hacı Ali Akdeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hacı Ali Akdeniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hacı Ali Akdeniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Atabek Azimli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Atabek Azimli made the kick off in the second half. Hayati Tuncer came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Suluova's Mehmet Efe Oğuzcan. But to his dismay, Mehmet Efe Oğuzcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Atabek Azimli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hayati Tuncer. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. After 63 played minutes Suluova got a freekick which was hit by Songur Salah. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suluova's goalkeeper Hayrettin Doğu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atabek Azimli struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hayati Tuncer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suluova. kaya Akgündüz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Atabek Azimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayrettin Doğu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Ilıcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayati Tuncer made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Hacı Ali Akdeniz sent off a good shot on target. When Ali Çağrı Akabe fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored samsun spor's protests and gave Ali Çağrı Akabe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to samsun spor getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ali Çağrı Akabe hit a great ball. Mehmet Efe Oğuzcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atabek Azimli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayati Tuncer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Suluova played a much better game than samsun spor and deserved their victory. The samsun spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
