Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yıldıray Bektaş started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Göztepe's Dorukhan Taran got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 minutes of play, Göztepe's Talip Eğilmez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alpay Turatekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vatan Boz, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yıldıray Bektaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kandemir Kabataş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yıldıray Bektaş ran back to his position shaking his head. Önder Kadirsah charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Önder Kadirsah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talip Eğilmez in the 19th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Alpay Turatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Bünyamin Ağaoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göztepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bünyamin Ağaoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Talip Eğilmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yıldıray Bektaş hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Bünyamin Ağaoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Önder Kadirsah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alpay Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kandemir Kabataş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldıray Bektaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göztepe's Talip Eğilmez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Emir Yerel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Kabataş having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Talip Eğilmez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ozan Çağnur kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hafız Okcan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Atilla Kağan Derinöz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Talip Eğilmez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alpay Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpay Turatekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bünyamin Ağaoğlu went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Emir Yerel in the 73rd minute of play forced Göztepe's goalkeeper Kandemir Kabataş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Önder Kadirsah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alpay Turatekin. GALATASARAY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Önder Kadirsah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bünyamin Ağaoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alpay Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talip Eğilmez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alpay Turatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bünyamin Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
