The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Yayalar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baki Bardakçıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürol Bozbey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's Temel Ceceli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orbay Taşboğa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gürol Bozbey did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Ozan Özdeş 19 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Yayalar's Ahmet Ozan Özdeş threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Ekrem Ümit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yayalar's goalkeeper Orbay Taşboğa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Mustafa Ekrem Ümit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mahir Pamiroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mahir Pamiroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in TRABZONSPOR's zone, Gürol Bozbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ozan Özdeş came out of the goal and Gürol Bozbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Temel Ceceli to make the kick off. When Baki Bardakçıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yayalar's protests and gave Baki Bardakçıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Baki Bardakçıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Mustafa Ekrem Ümit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRABZONSPOR's Ahmet Ozan Özdeş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sezgin Reşit charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A collision led to TRABZONSPOR getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Arif Gaffar Zübeyir hit a great ball. If Gürol Bozbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Yayalar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
