In the 4th minute of the match Haluk Türkeş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cavit Olgaç skillfully saved the ball. After 11 minutes, Altan Tublek made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SHATOV RIP's Cavit Olgaç tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, SHATOV RIP's Arcan Özan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ünsal Üner. Ünsal Üner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Yaşar Nuri Yıldırımtürk struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ünsal Üner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SHATOV RIP. Cavit Olgaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to SHATOV RIP getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sarp Ulualp hit a great ball. Erhan Davarcı hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Arcan Özan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ünsal Üner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SHATOV RIP's Ünsal Kutsan got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. FenerBahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cavit Olgaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SHATOV RIP's goalkeeper Cavit Olgaç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Sungurhan Harmandalı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FenerBahçe and the SHATOV RIP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, FenerBahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurhan Harmandalı to maneuver through the defense. Arcan Özan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünsal Üner having to interfere. Yaşar Nuri Yıldırımtürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arcan Özan made a kick off. Cavit Olgaç was a little too slow when Altan Tublek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cavit Olgaç. That made the score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Cavit Olgaç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Sungurhan Harmandalı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SHATOV RIP's zone, Altan Tublek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cavit Olgaç came out of the goal and Altan Tublek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Ediz Uğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cavit Olgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FenerBahçe's Ünsal Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Nuri Yıldırımtürk in the 95th minute of play. FenerBahçe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
