The referee ignored Nemeton's protests and gave İnanç Sipahi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Nemeton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İnanç Sipahi to maneuver through the defense. Lütfi Betik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Songurhan Ekinci having to make a save. Lütfi Betik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıza Tükelay in the 10th minute of play forced Solhan SK's goalkeeper Şenol Sırat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute İnanç Sipahi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Sırat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İnanç Sipahi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şenol Sırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Sipahi in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Rıza Tükelay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nemeton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıza Tükelay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İnanç Sipahi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Solhan SK got a freekick which was hit by Afşar İslamoğlu. Şenol Sırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Sipahi in the 77th minute of the match. Songurhan Ekinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfi Betik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Nemeton:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solhan SK:s goal. Şenol Sırat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İnanç Sipahi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
