The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Solhan SK's Lütfi Betik in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SULTANHİSARSPOR's Gökcan Ramazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Betik in the 4th minute of play. With his leg Gökcan Ramazan managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Solhan SK's Kurtuluş Uma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lütfi Betik struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gökcan Ramazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solhan SK. If Lütfi Betik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Gökcan Ramazan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Aral Seci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aral Seci struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. In the 44th minute, Lütfi Betik fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 45 minutes into the match, SULTANHİSARSPOR's goalkeeper Gökcan Ramazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurtuluş Uma. The supporters of Solhan SK booed when SULTANHİSARSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kürşat Ferhat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lütfi Betik was the one to do the kick off. Kurtuluş Uma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baycan Usluer's late challenge caught a Solhan SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baycan Usluer helped the player get up and apologised. Gökcan Ramazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurtuluş Uma in the 67th minute of the match. When Osman Nuri Kadıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SULTANHİSARSPOR's protests and gave Osman Nuri Kadıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, SULTANHİSARSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osman Nuri Kadıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Kurtuluş Uma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökcan Ramazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökcan Ramazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Betik in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, Okanalp Öveç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SULTANHİSARSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solhan SK the free kick. Okanalp Öveç kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Solhan SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while SULTANHİSARSPOR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
