Olcay Orkun Altuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Tümer in the 32nd minute of the match. Atıf Rasif hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Doganyurt's Levent Tümer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olcay Orkun Altuğ. Olcay Orkun Altuğ yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bahadır Kamer was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levent Boysel got free with Osman Kutay in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Levent Tümer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Altuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Tümer in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olcay Orkun Altuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doganyurt's Mustafa Ekrem Çiltay got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Beyhan Erginalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nusaybin FK's Olcay Orkun Altuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Tümer in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nusaybin FK's zone, Levent Tümer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olcay Orkun Altuğ came out of the goal and Levent Tümer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doganyurt had won after a very even match.
