Bumin Şahbey was a little too slow when Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. A hard shot 77 in the game by Korkutalp Özengin from a close distance when the talented Bumin Şahbey managed to make a qualified save. Biga's players were relieved. Ahmet Arif Lefter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Şahinter having to interfere. When Korkutalp Özengin came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Milli Gençlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korkutalp Özengin couldn't finish the play. Milli Gençlik's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
