Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Küre SK's Volkan Tor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Derman Tekcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Kırman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mete Kırman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Tekcan having to interfere. In the 7th minute of the match Acun Toregün shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derman Tekcan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Küre SK's Derman Tekcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Uzalp in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Küre SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suavi Yezid to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Mihaliccik JK's Mete Kırman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derman Tekcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Mete Kırman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Tekcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mihaliccik JK's zone, Volkan Tor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salih Atatuğ came out of the goal and Volkan Tor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duran Uzalp in the 24th minute of play forced Küre SK's goalkeeper Derman Tekcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mete Kırman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Derman Tekcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derman Tekcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Uzalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Kırman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derman Tekcan saved Küre SK from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurtuluş Tamer during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kurtuluş Tamer kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Mazhar Taran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doğan Tecelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Salih Atatuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mete Kırman made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Mete Kırman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Küre SK's Derman Tekcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mete Kırman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Tekcan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mete Kırman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derman Tekcan was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A hard shot 65 in the game by Duran Uzalp from a close distance when the talented Derman Tekcan managed to make a qualified save. Küre SK's players were relieved. Derman Tekcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Kırman in the 66th minute of the match. Namık Kemal Yankı was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 71 minutes into the match, Duran Uzalp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Küre SK's Derman Tekcan. Derman Tekcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee ignored Mihaliccik JK's protests and gave Doğaner Yalvaç a yellow card for diving instead. If Mete Kırman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihaliccik JK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
