Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bedrettin Yanıker started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Persembe got a freekick which was hit by İlmi Öztekin. In the 9th minute, Hıncal İltemur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Gerze's Sertaç Besim broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Necmettin Göçer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necmettin Göçer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Batuhan Çerağ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerze and the Persembe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, one of Gerze:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 29 minutes into the game, Persembe's Gürbüz Zade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cemil Giyas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 33 minutes, Okanay Vecdet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Persembe and the Gerze players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Persembe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Okanay Vecdet hit a great ball. Necmettin Göçer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaşar Nuri Onurad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necmettin Göçer to strike the kick off in the second half. Persembe's Gürbüz Zade managed to work through Gerze's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gürbüz Zade dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gürbüz Zades short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Cemil Giyas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cemil Giyas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okanay Vecdet in the 61st minute. Cemil Giyas made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Gürbüz Zade sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Bedrettin Yanıker fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cemil Giyas, passed just outside the right post. Yaşar Nuri Onurad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İlkan Akçalı having to make a save. After 79 played minutes Gerze got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Devrim. Bedrettin Yanıker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürbüz Zade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cemil Giyas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Gerze's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bedrettin Yanıker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bedrettin Yanıker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Giyas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gerze's zone, Gürbüz Zade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cemil Giyas came out of the goal and Gürbüz Zade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Persembe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gerze.
