Volkan Tor started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Ahmet İlke Sağınç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerze and the Küre SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Gerze got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlke Sağınç. Derman Tekcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmettin Göçer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Doğan Tecelli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Küre SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cemil Giyas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doğan Tecelli in the 14th minute. Volkan Tor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Giyas having to interfere. Derman Tekcan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gerze's Necmettin Göçer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Vatan Oylum kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Necmettin Göçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Tekcan having to interfere. Derman Tekcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Nuri Onurad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gerze's Cemil Giyas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkan Tor in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Nuri Onurad got free with Derman Tekcan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerze's Yaşar Nuri Onurad got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Necmettin Göçer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Derman Tekcan. Necmettin Göçer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. A hard shot 61 in the game by Yaşar Nuri Onurad from a close distance when the talented Derman Tekcan managed to make a qualified save. Küre SK's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Gerze's zone, Doğan Tecelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cemil Giyas came out of the goal and Doğan Tecelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaşar Nuri Onurad in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Derman Tekcan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 75 minutes into the match, Küre SK's goalkeeper Derman Tekcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaşar Nuri Onurad.
