Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cafer Yerhum started the match with the kick off. Kurtuluş Kabakçı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gökcebey's Selçuk Akdoğ got control of the ball when Kurtuluş Kabakçı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selçuk Akdoğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurtuluş Kabakçı's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Kurtuluş Kabakçı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerit's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurtuluş Kabakçı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selçuk Akdoğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Süruri Yazıcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafer Yerhum, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kıvanç Bintuğ hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Süruri Yazıcı came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Gökcebey's Zühtü Mutlutekin. But to his dismay, Zühtü Mutlutekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 27 minutes into the game, Gökcebey's Halis Baykal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Süruri Yazıcı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 2-3 became the score in the 33rd minute when Umut Taçkın elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Asım Nasreddin's late challenge caught a Gökcebey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asım Nasreddin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, one of Cerit:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cerit. Süruri Yazıcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zühtü Mutlutekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurtuluş Kabakçı got free with Selçuk Akdoğ in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Umut Taçkın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Umut Taçkın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gökcebey the free kick.

The wind increased when Umut Taçkın made the kick off in the second half. Cerit's Süruri Yazıcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cerit from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Kurtuluş Kabakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selçuk Akdoğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Cerit's goal looked a bit too open when Cafer Yerhum came free, but Süruri Yazıcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halis Baykal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 59th playminute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-7 when Kurtuluş Kabakçı sped through Gökcebey's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Selçuk Akdoğ. Gökcebey's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
