In the 17th minute, Zühtü Kaim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goal looked a bit too open when Zühtü Kaim came free, but Can Oba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Can Oba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktaç Şahdar in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güralp Ilgaz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zühtü Kaim to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Orhan Erem struck a weak shot in the 51st minute.
