Spectators: 6510 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Umut Taçkın started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cerit's zone, Aktaç Şahdar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Süruri Yazıcı came out of the goal and Aktaç Şahdar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cerit fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Cerit's Kurtuluş Kabakçı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cerit's Süruri Yazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zühtü Kaim in the 13th minute of play. Kurtuluş Kabakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ercan Taha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Kurtuluş Kabakçı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nazimiye's Ercan Taha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cerit's Umut Taçkın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercan Taha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umut Taçkın in the 23rd minute of play forced Nazimiye's goalkeeper Ercan Taha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Nazimiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abidin Kandemir to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abidin Kandemir got free with Süruri Yazıcı in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nazimiye booed when Cerit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurtuluş Kabakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Nazimiye's Zühtü Kaim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Kurtuluş Kabakçı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 48 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cerit's Umut Taçkın fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zühtü Kaim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ercan Taha managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Cerit's Kurtuluş Kabakçı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cerit's Süruri Yazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktaç Şahdar in the 58th minute of play. Kurtuluş Kabakçı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Ercan Taha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Kurtuluş Kabakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cerit played a much better game than Nazimiye and deserved their victory. The Nazimiye players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
