Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Kutsi Tanbay took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Gökcebey's Halis Baykal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çakır Başesgioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafer Yerhum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Çakır Başesgioğlu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafer Yerhum in the 6th minute of play forced Gönen FK's goalkeeper Çakır Başesgioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çakır Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafer Yerhum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selçuk Akdoğ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Karluk in the 11th minute. When Cafer Yerhum came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gökcebey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafer Yerhum couldn't finish the play. After having played for 14 minutes, Halis Baykal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gökcebey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halis Baykal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Recep Tayyip Adsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Gökcebey's Muhsin Savtur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gönen FK. After 26 minutes of play, Gönen FK's Mehmet Karluk made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selçuk Akdoğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cafer Yerhum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafer Yerhum in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çakır Başesgioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halis Baykal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafer Yerhum to make the kick off. Gönen FK's Çakır Başesgioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Gönen FK from getting a goal against them. Cafer Yerhum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Çakır Başesgioğlu having to make a save. Halis Baykal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Çakır Başesgioğlu made a huge save. Mustafa Anıl Tekinalp charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cafer Yerhum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakır Başesgioğlu having to interfere. Halis Baykal took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Çakır Başesgioğlu. Çakır Başesgioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 94th minute, Gökcebey's Halis Baykal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Çakır Başesgioğlu. Çakır Başesgioğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Barış Aksoy charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barış Aksoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 99th minute, Barış Aksoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
