Rafettin İğdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Süruri Doğanhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Süruri Doğanhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafettin İğdemir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özgün Utku kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Koray Yuvakuran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abdulhamit Ünsevin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ege Nasuh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gündüz Hunalp couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Ahmet Reha Sabit got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Yüce Vurgun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafettin İğdemir skillfully saved the ball. Rafettin İğdemir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gündüz Hunalp went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 1-3 became the score in the 41st minute when Gündüz Hunalp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Abdülhak Derviş kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rafettin İğdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gündüz Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafettin İğdemir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gündüz Hunalp went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Denizlispor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Osmangazi JK were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gündüz Hunalp to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Osmangazi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Karahan Taşkesen came free, but Abdulhamit Ünsevin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alkan Bektaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafettin İğdemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alkan Bektaş in the 59th minute. Alkan Bektaşs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Rafettin İğdemir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Osmangazi JK's Süruri Doğanhan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ahmet Ege Nasuh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rafettin İğdemir made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alkan Bektaş sent off a good shot on target. The Denizlispor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Osmangazi JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Osmangazi JK.
