Mustafa Emrah Yamaner charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yavuz Bülent İlighan to make the kick off. Ahmet Davut Tanyeris short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Seyfettin Gürtuna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baltalimani's Seyfettin Gürtuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Orsel in the 59th minute of play. Seyfettin Gürtuna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Davut Tanyeri in the 60th minute. In the 62nd play minute Ahmet Davut Tanyeri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Seyfettin Gürtuna. 1-1. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
