Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adem Ulukan kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, Yesilköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aygün Kaynak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yesilköy's Ömür Özbekkan got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Yesilköy's goalkeeper Ejder Kaçkar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zühtü Yalap. Adem Ulukan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Ejder Kaçkar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes in the game, Gökcan Eymen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ejder Kaçkar having to interfere. Adem Ulukan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Gençlerbirliği was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökcan Eymen to maneuver through the defense. Adem Ulukan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ejder Kaçkar. Ejder Kaçkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Uğurcan Erenoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ejder Kaçkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Uğurcan Erenoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Ateş Sırat came free, but Ertuğrul İlkcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ertuğrul İlkcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlyas Köker in the 32nd minute of play. İlyas Köker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ertuğrul İlkcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Ateş Sırat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertuğrul İlkcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adem Ulukan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ejder Kaçkar made a huge save. Adem Ulukan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Ejder Kaçkar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ateş Sırat to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gökcan Eymen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ejder Kaçkar. Yesilköy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökcan Eymen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 55 minutes into the match, Yesilköy's goal looked a bit too open when Adem Ulukan came free, but Ejder Kaçkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökcan Eymen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Umut Haşmetli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ejder Kaçkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökcan Eymen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adem Ulukan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ejder Kaçkar having to make a save. Uğurcan Erenoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ejder Kaçkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Uğurcan Erenoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gençlerbirliği's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uğurcan Erenoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ateş Sırat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yesilköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ateş Sırat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ertuğrul İlkcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gençlerbirliği's Ertuğrul İlkcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ateş Sırat in the 74th minute of play. When İlyas Köker came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Yesilköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlyas Köker couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Rafettin Ergazi made a precise shot to the right of Ejder Kaçkar. Yesilköy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Yesilköy's zone, Gökcan Eymen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ejder Kaçkar came out of the goal and Gökcan Eymen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gençlerbirliği fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ertuğrul İlkcan, was totally fooled by Yesilköy's Ömür Özbekkan, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Yesilköy getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Abdurrezzak Nedim hit a great ball. Gençlerbirliği walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
