Cenk Baykır didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oğuzhan Akkanoğlu went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gaziantep Fk's Cenk Baykır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Yavuzer in the 8th minute of play. Aygün Ayvaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Azim Alansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaziantep Fk's Cenk Baykır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Yavuzer in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Bakkalköy's Azim Alansoy got control of the ball when Aygün Ayvaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 played minutes Gaziantep Fk got a freekick which was hit by Erbatur Erşahan. After a defensive mix-up in Gaziantep Fk's zone, Savaş Şahinter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cenk Baykır came out of the goal and Savaş Şahinter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Savaş Şahinter made a precise shot to the right of Cenk Baykır. Gaziantep Fk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Bakkalköy defense, Aygün Ayvaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azim Alansoy. The Bakkalköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azim Alansoy should have stopped the shot. Azim Alansoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulmelik Alatay in the 32nd minute of the match. Cenk Baykır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Yavuzer in the 34th minute of play. Savaş Şahinter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Aygün Ayvaz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Bakkalköy's Azim Alansoy. Azim Alansoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Aygün Ayvaz made the kick off in the second half. Aygün Ayvaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azim Alansoy having to interfere. Aygün Ayvaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cenk Baykır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzhan Akkanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bakkalköy's Azim Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aygün Ayvaz in the 58th minute of play. Azim Alansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aygün Ayvaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Doğuhan Yılmaz could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Cenk Baykır however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute Doğuhan Yılmaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Baykır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azim Alansoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aygün Ayvaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Savaş Şahinter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Baykır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Selami Erşahin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaziantep Fk and the Bakkalköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gaziantep Fk's Selami Erşahin got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Baybora Pekiner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaziantep Fk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakkalköy the free kick. After 79 played minutes Gaziantep Fk got a freekick which was hit by Baybora Pekiner. Ahmet Yahya Şavat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cenk Baykır. Gaziantep Fk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 81 played minutes Gaziantep Fk got a freekick which was hit by Alptuğ Korgan. In the 83rd minute Savaş Şahinter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Baykır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Selami Erşahin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute, Selami Erşahin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Saltuk Özkan came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gaziantep Fk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saltuk Özkan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Bakkalköy defense, Mustafa Emrah Hacıbeyoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azim Alansoy. The Bakkalköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azim Alansoy should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bakkalköy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gaziantep Fk.
