After some careless play in the FC Galatasaray defense, Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fazıl İlkutay. The FC Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fazıl İlkutay should have stopped the shot. FC Galatasaray's Fazıl İlkutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erberk Akgündüz in the 40th minute of play. Fazıl İlkutay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erberk Akgündüz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, FC Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış came free, but Fazıl İlkutay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erberk Akgündüz's late challenge caught a FC Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fazıl İlkutay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 52 minute of play. After a rather tough play, İmPos JK's Erberk Akgündüz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tahsin Oğuralp struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Agah Elçioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Galatasaray. İmPos JK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
