Ali Haydar Kayacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birant Tokuş in the 3rd minute of the match. When Birant Tokuş fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yenikentgücü's protests and gave Birant Tokuş a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ückuyular booed when Yenikentgücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Tokuş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Vedat Tekke got free with Ali Haydar Kayacan in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Rauf Doğanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güven Onbulak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Ali Vedat Tekke made a precise shot to the right of Ali Haydar Kayacan. Ückuyular's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Yenikentgücü booed when Ückuyular was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauf Doğanay didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Talat Erdoğan led 23 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Ückuyular's Ali Haydar Kayacan became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0. Ückuyular's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Güven Onbulak scored to the left of an out of position Ali Haydar Kayacan, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Vedat Tekke in the 36th minute of play forced Ückuyular's goalkeeper Ali Haydar Kayacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Güven Onbulak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Haydar Kayacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Vedat Tekke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ali Haydar Kayacan made a huge save. Ali Haydar Kayacan made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ali Vedat Tekke sent off a good shot on target. Ali Haydar Kayacan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güven Onbulak, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Ali Vedat Tekke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Yenikentgücü fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Yenikentgücü's Güven Onbulak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 70 minutes into the match, Ückuyular's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Vedat Tekke came free, but Ali Haydar Kayacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ali Vedat Tekke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ückuyular's Ali Haydar Kayacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güven Onbulak in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Lokman Özbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güven Onbulak struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ali Haydar Kayacan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenikentgücü. If Güven Onbulak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Vedat Tekke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Vedat Tekke in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Haydar Kayacan saved Ückuyular from getting behind. Yenikentgücü walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
