Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burak Acabay started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaan Uğursoy during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Kaan Uğursoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When İlbey Bekata fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Galatasaray's protests and gave İlbey Bekata a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, FC Galatasaray's Fazıl İlkutay got control of the ball when Ali Vedat Tekke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fazıl İlkutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güven Onbulak, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, FC Galatasaray's goalkeeper Fazıl İlkutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Vedat Tekke. Fazıl İlkutay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Güven Onbulak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ali Vedat Tekke recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fazıl İlkutay. Ali Vedat Tekke showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Birant Tokuş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fazıl İlkutay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Vedat Tekke in the 46th minute. Fazıl İlkutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güven Onbulak, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Güven Onbulak made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Güven Onbulak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fazıl İlkutay. FC Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güven Onbulak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tahsin Oğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Artun Egeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Birant Tokuş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenikentgücü and the FC Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Galatasaray booed when Yenikentgücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Tokuş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Vedat Tekke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fazıl İlkutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, FC Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlbey Bekata to maneuver through the defense. Fazıl İlkutay came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Yenikentgücü's Hüseyin Can Tor. But to his dismay, Hüseyin Can Tor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abuzer Tuner in the 74th minute of play forced FC Galatasaray's goalkeeper Fazıl İlkutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fazıl İlkutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güven Onbulak, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the FC Galatasaray defense, Ali Vedat Tekke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fazıl İlkutay. The FC Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fazıl İlkutay should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Birant Tokuş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yenikentgücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 93 minutes into the match, Ali Vedat Tekke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fazıl İlkutay. FC Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Vedat Tekke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yenikentgücü fully deserved thier win.
