Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yavuz Bülent Vecid got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Erciyes Spor's zone, Birant Toralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdülhak Kumuk came out of the goal and Birant Toralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Battal Seyyit Turaç hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Diyarbakir's Kılıç Oğuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtuluş Acıbadem in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Diyarbakir's Tayyar Haseki got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Alkan Eyüpoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diyarbakir's protests and gave Alkan Eyüpoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Alkan Eyüpoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tayyar Haseki charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tayyar Haseki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tayyar Haseki kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Emrah Tanyel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Birant Toralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abdülhak Kumuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A beautiful save bye Erciyes Spor's goalie prevented a goal. Kılıç Oğuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurtuluş Acıbadem in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Erciyes Spor booed when Diyarbakir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayyar Haseki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıç Oğuz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Erciyes Spor's Kurtuluş Acıbadem. But to his dismay, Kurtuluş Acıbadem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Cüneyd Giryar fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diyarbakir's protests and gave Cüneyd Giryar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Kurtuluş Acıbadem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Bülent Vecid in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdülhak Kumuk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yavuz Bülent Vecid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurtuluş Acıbadem was the one to do the kick off. Bülent Salur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kılıç Oğuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Erciyes Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Hakkı Kortan to maneuver through the defense. Bülent Salur in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kılıç Oğuz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The attack was good, but when Kurtuluş Acıbadem in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kılıç Oğuz was a little too slow when Kurtuluş Acıbadem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-2. Battal Seyyit Turaç hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Abdülhak Kumuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Vecid in the 75th minute of play. Diyarbakir's Birant Toralp got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdülhak Kumuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birant Toralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Emrah Tanyel from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Kılıç Oğuz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kurtuluş Acıbadem succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. During the 93rd minute of the match Cüneyd Giryar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cüneyd Giryar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cüneyd Giryar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Diyarbakir's goalkeeper Kılıç Oğuz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bülent Salur. The Erciyes Spor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
