With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uluç Özbas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrail Talayman came free, but Uluç Özbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's Yavuz Bülent Soyselçuk got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Aladag got a corner. GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ersan İlkcan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 24th minute, Aladag's Ekrem Apaydın ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uluç Özbas. Uluç Özbas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Ekrem Apaydın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uluç Özbas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Cebrail Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ekrem Apaydın came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aladag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekrem Apaydın couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's goalkeeper Uluç Özbas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match, Cebrail Talayman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uluç Özbas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cebrail Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uluç Özbas having to interfere. A collision led to GENÇLERBİRLİGİ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emrah Vefalı hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alim Eroğuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's zone, Ekrem Apaydın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uluç Özbas came out of the goal and Ekrem Apaydın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uluç Özbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cebrail Talayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yavuz Bülent Soyselçuk charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz Bülent Soyselçuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aladag's Cebrail Talayman got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Aladag got a freekick which was hit by Ersan İlkcan. Uluç Özbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekrem Apaydın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Cebrail Talayman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uluç Özbas. GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cebrail Talayman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, GENÇLERBİRLİGİ's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrail Talayman came free, but Uluç Özbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cebrail Talayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cebrail Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
