Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akil Atlıhan started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Akil Atlıhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıray Yağızalp was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When Taha Üstünbay fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Okm Spor's protests and gave Taha Üstünbay a yellow card for diving instead. Batıray Yağızalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Atlıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Behzat Erboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behzat Erboy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Batıray Yağızalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akil Atlıhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıray Yağızalp having to interfere. When Behzat Erboy came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Esentepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Behzat Erboy couldn't finish the play. Okm Spor's Batıray Yağızalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akil Atlıhan in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ertunç Kaptan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özgür Hisarcık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bedih İlmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match Fırat Kabadayı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedih İlmi skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Okm Spor booed when Esentepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orbay Direnç didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Özgür Hisarcık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raik Şencan was the one to do the kick off. Bedih İlmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raik Şencan in the 56th minute of play. Behzat Erboy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Batıray Yağızalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akil Atlıhan in the 64th minute of play forced Okm Spor's goalkeeper Batıray Yağızalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batıray Yağızalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Erboy in the 68th minute of the match. İsmail Hakkı Sav charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İsmail Hakkı Sav the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İsmail Hakkı Sav hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bedih İlmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Şencan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Hisarcık got free with Bedih İlmi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özgür Hisarcık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raik Şencan came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Okm Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raik Şencan couldn't finish the play. Bedih İlmi made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Özgür Hisarcık sent off a good shot on target. Raik Şencan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bedih İlmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raik Şencan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
