When Akil Atlıhan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ateş Gazzali was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Behzat Erboy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ateş Gazzali. Torunoglu Aş's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behzat Erboy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bedih İlmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andaç Sav in the 28th minute of the match. Akil Atlıhan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ateş Gazzali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esentepe. With a little luck, Torunoglu Aş's Ateş Gazzali got control of the ball when Behzat Erboy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Akil Atlıhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torunoglu Aş's Ateş Gazzali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes Torunoglu Aş got a freekick which was hit by Atalan Ergüner. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Ateş Gazzali successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd minute, Torunoglu Aş's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Behzat Erboy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akil Atlıhan in the 44th minute of play forced Torunoglu Aş's goalkeeper Ateş Gazzali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ateş Gazzali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertunç Kaptan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Torunoglu Aş defense, Behzat Erboy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ateş Gazzali. The Torunoglu Aş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ateş Gazzali should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Orbay Direnç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertunç Kaptan's late challenge caught a Torunoglu Aş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ertunç Kaptan helped the player get up and apologised. Ertunç Kaptan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Ahmet Vefik Tanbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ateş Gazzali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behzat Erboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Behzat Erboy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esentepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Behzat Erboy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ateş Gazzali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 minutes of play, Esentepe's Akil Atlıhan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ateş Gazzali was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Akil Atlıhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ateş Gazzali was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Ateş Gazzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behzat Erboy in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andaç Sav kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bedih İlmi. That made the score 3-1 in the 88 minute of play. Torunoglu Aş's Ateş Gazzali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behzat Erboy in the 92nd minute of play. Akil Atlıhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ateş Gazzali having to interfere. Behzat Erboy might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ateş Gazzali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behzat Erboy ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esentepe fully deserved thier win.
