Baran Utkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nafiz Bican having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Cesur Çetinel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yozgat FK's Ahmet Nafiz Bican tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Ozan Yezid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cankut Soysaldı's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Uygur Tuney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derik and the Yozgat FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Derik's Uygur Tuney got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Cankut Soysaldı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Nafiz Bican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesur Çetinel in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Uygur Tuney put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Nafiz Bican. 30 minutes into the game, Derik's Cesur Çetinel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Nafiz Bican made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 36 minutes into the game, İstemihan Oymen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yozgat FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derik the free kick. İstemihan Oymen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-3 when İstemihan Oymen sped through Derik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Ozan Yezid. If Cankut Soysaldı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yozgat FK's Cankut Soysaldı got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Nafiz Bican made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Baran Utkan sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Yozgat FK got a freekick which was hit by Galip Işıker. Cesur Çetinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ahmet Nafiz Bican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yozgat FK's Cankut Soysaldı in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Derik's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Yaşar Koralp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yozgat FK the free kick. A collision led to Derik getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Yaşar Koralp hit a great ball. Cankut Soysaldı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ozan Yezid having to interfere. Yaşar Koralp kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Derik's zone, Cankut Soysaldı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ozan Yezid came out of the goal and Cankut Soysaldı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cankut Soysaldı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, İstemihan Oymen made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Ozan Yezid. Derik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
