Vakfıkebirli's Ergincan Asutay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Derik. Kuddusî Daman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesur Çetinel's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Derik's Baran Utkan got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuddusî Daman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesur Çetinel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Mehmet Arif Erakalın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesur Çetinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Ediz Safvet during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Derik booed when Vakfıkebirli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ediz Safvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuddusî Daman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesur Çetinel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vakfıkebirli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sait Aktaşlı hit a great ball. Yaşar Koralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Daman having to interfere. In the 49th minute, Uygur Tuney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ergincan Asutay, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Derik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vakfıkebirli were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agah Hurmacı to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Vakfıkebirli's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Utkan came free, but Kuddusî Daman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cesur Çetinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beşir Attaroğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ahmet Ozan Yezid skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vakfıkebirli's Kuddusî Daman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Utkan in the 70th minute of play. Beşir Attaroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Beşir Attaroğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet Ozan Yezid was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yaşar Koralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Daman having to interfere. Cesur Çetinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kuddusî Daman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesur Çetinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vakfıkebirli's Sait Aktaşlı got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Derik were awarded a corner. Mehmet Arif Erakalın went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Derik's corner Mehmet Arif Erakalın fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kuddusî Daman quite easily take care of the ball. Derik's Ahmet Ozan Yezid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agah Hurmacı in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Cesur Çetinel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuddusî Daman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Derik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vakfıkebirli's performance. The match ended with a win for Vakfıkebirli.
