Artun Visali's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Ahmet İlhan Cumali skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11th minute, Ertaç Oncubay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trabzonspor's Ahmet İlhan Cumali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selim Onuralp in the 15th minute of play. Selim Onuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ahmet İlhan Cumali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Mustafa Barış Tatu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ahmet İlhan Cumali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selim Onuralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Selim Onuralp came free, but Ahmet İlhan Cumali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Selim Onuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yavuz Selim Yumus hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Selim Onuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Güngören were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
