In the 22nd match minute, Erzincan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuh Arpacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Erzincan's Hamdullah Kahraman got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Vatan Sadik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzincan and the CLB Kocaeli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Erzincan got a freekick which was hit by Vatan Sadik. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derya Baytugay was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Balamir Asya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teoman Hacıağa was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Hamdullah Kahraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teoman Hacıağa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balamir Asya, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vatan Sadik got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th minute, Vatan Sadik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamdullah Kahraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Ali Atıf Topdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teoman Hacıağa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamdullah Kahraman in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to CLB Kocaeli getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Behlül Benli hit a great ball. Hamdullah Kahraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Derya Baytugay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. CLB Kocaeli's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. CLB Kocaeli were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Erzincan's much stronger midfield.
