Sacit Uzlet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Galip Salur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Denizhan Rasih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gürpinar's Mehmet Hakkı Has was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Binali Uçarer made the kick off in the second half. Ali Galip Salur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binali Uçarer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevahir Temizsoy in the 56th minute of play forced Gürpinar's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Has to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gürpinar's Binali Uçarer in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nazimiye FK's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes Gürpinar got a freekick which was hit by Ramazan Uygur. After a defensive mix-up in Gürpinar's zone, Cevahir Temizsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Hakkı Has came out of the goal and Cevahir Temizsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Ozan Oruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Galip Salur having to interfere. When Sacit Uzlet fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürpinar's protests and gave Sacit Uzlet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gürpinar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sacit Uzlet hit a great ball. Denizhan Rasih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Has having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Binali Uçarer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gürpinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binali Uçarer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Binali Uçarer came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gürpinar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binali Uçarer couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Nazimiye FK's Ali Galip Salur got control of the ball when Anıl Ozan Oruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Galip Salur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anıl Ozan Oruz went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Nazil Malkoç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anıl Ozan Oruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ali Galip Salur made a huge save. Anıl Ozan Oruz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ali Galip Salur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürpinar.
