Spectators: 6646 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 144) Songurhan Kavi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Meram's zone, Batı Birtan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haydar Özçin came out of the goal and Batı Birtan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Meram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataman Yerlikaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th match minute, Meram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semi Özselen to maneuver through the defense. Gevas's Asım Baytugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songurhan Kavi in the 15th minute of play. Meram's Songurhan Kavi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Çelebi Turhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Güvenç Tokuztuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Songurhan Kavi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asım Baytugay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 35 minutes, Oğuzhan Yazargil made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gevas's Asım Baytugay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Asım Baytugay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Kavi in the 39th minute of play. Semi Özselen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuzhan Yazargil got free with Asım Baytugay in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Gevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağdaş Sarvan to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute, Songurhan Kavi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 78th minute of the match Meram got a corner. Gevas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ataman Yerlikaya ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ataman Yerlikaya made a great header on Meram's corner, it was just that Gevas's Asım Baytugay managed to reach the ball for a save. Asım Baytugay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Songurhan Kavi went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Oğuzhan Yazargil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Baytugay having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Oğuzhan Yazargil managed to get in a good position for a shot.
