After a rather tough play, Laleli's Ahmet Erdem İnanöz got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Gürpinar's Anıl Ozan Oruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baransel Perker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Laleli booed when Gürpinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ozan Oruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Koralp Onar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Baransel Perker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anıl Ozan Oruz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baransel Perker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Fahrettin Dilsafa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laleli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gürpinar the free kick. A collision led to Laleli getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fahrettin Dilsafa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gürpinar's zone, Şükrü Özluer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Hakkı Has came out of the goal and Şükrü Özluer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Koralp Onar charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Koralp Onar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anıl Ozan Oruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Laleli booed when Gürpinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Koralp Onar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laleli's Baransel Perker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtuluş Ağçelik in the 37th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Laleli's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Ozan Oruz came free, but Baransel Perker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Binali Uçarer in the 51st minute of play forced Laleli's goalkeeper Baransel Perker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Serhan Namık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laleli and the Gürpinar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Laleli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serhan Namık to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Gürpinar got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Onar. After a defensive mix-up in Gürpinar's zone, Fahrettin Dilsafa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halit Ziya Bekata hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Şükrü Özluer came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Laleli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şükrü Özluer couldn't finish the play. Laleli's Baransel Perker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Laleli from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Laleli getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ahmet Erdem İnanöz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gürpinar's Binali Uçarer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baransel Perker. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. When Binali Uçarer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Gürpinar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binali Uçarer couldn't finish the play. Nusret Köklem's late challenge caught a Gürpinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nusret Köklem helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laleli! 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 84 played minutes, when Gürpinar:s Sacit Uzlet calmly waited for Laleli:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Kurtuluş Ağçelik kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cengiz Muhittin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Fahrettin Dilsafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şükrü Özluer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Has having to interfere. The Laleli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gürpinar's performance. The match ended with a win for Gürpinar.
