Oğuz Vahdet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Selmi Sehriyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğuş Kırdar's late challenge caught a CLB Kocaeli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doğuş Kırdar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Doğuş Kırdar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Derya Baytugay managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLB Kocaeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Derya Baytugay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmi Sehriyar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CLB Kocaeli's Teoman Hacıağa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Akyazı in the 9th minute of play. Selmi Sehriyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derya Baytugay in the 10th minute of play. Anıl Ege Ünzil charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anıl Ege Ünzil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anıl Ege Ünzil kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Ünal Cihansah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Selmi Sehriyar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Igdir JK's goal looked a bit too open when Derya Baytugay came free, but Selmi Sehriyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Can Paksoy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halil Can Paksoy during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Igdir JK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Halil Can Paksoy hit a great ball. Oğuz Vahdets short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Selmi Sehriyar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Igdir JK's goal looked a bit too open when Derya Baytugay came free, but Selmi Sehriyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Behlül Benli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Selmi Sehriyar. Behlül Benli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Selmi Sehriyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derya Baytugay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selmi Sehriyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorukhan Seccac in the 45th minute of the match. Igdir JK were furious when Battal Seyyit Reşit was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 45th minute, one of Igdir JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Igdir JK. Selmi Sehriyar went to the wrong direction when Ünal Cihansah was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derya Baytugay was the one to do the kick off. Selmi Sehriyar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 62 minutes into the game, Oğuz Vahdet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Selmi Sehriyar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of CLB Kocaeli booed when Igdir JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ege Ünzil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selmi Sehriyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Baytugay in the 68th minute of the match. Igdir JK's Selmi Sehriyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behlül Benli in the 70th minute of play. Dorukhan Seccac scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selmi Sehriyar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th match minute, CLB Kocaeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorukhan Seccac to maneuver through the defense. Halil Can Paksoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teoman Hacıağa having to make a save. Derya Baytugay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Oğuz Vahdet notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Igdir JK's Selmi Sehriyar. Selmi Sehriyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igdir JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
