The audience was convinced that Enrico Iacovone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cevdet Ulaç was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After 53 minutes of play, Pertevniyal's Benê Vidal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cevdet Ulaç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ömer Onuk hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Atıf Ulutaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Enrico Iacovone put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cevdet Ulaç. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Enrico Iacovone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pertevniyal's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Iacovone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cevdet Ulaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pertevniyal's Nélson Travassos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cevdet Ulaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Iacovone in the 84th minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
