Turgut Ongut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sümer Erel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aras Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GÖKÇE FOOTBALL CLUP's Aras Balkanlıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Keramettin Tümkurt clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. When Sedat Temizkal fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÖKÇE FOOTBALL CLUP's protests and gave Sedat Temizkal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Sedat Temizkal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lonya City FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aykut Türemen hit a great ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lonya City FC's goalkeeper Ali Nejat Orcun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Ali Nejat Orcun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Refik Halit Sarısaltuk fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lonya City FC's protests and gave Refik Halit Sarısaltuk a yellow card for diving instead. Aykut Türemen's late challenge caught a GÖKÇE FOOTBALL CLUP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cenan Irgatbaşı to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cenan Irgatbaşı notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lonya City FC's Ali Nejat Orcun. In the 74th minute, Aras Balkanlıoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Ali Nejat Orcun. Lonya City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Sedat Temizkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Balkanlıoğlu couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GÖKÇE FOOTBALL CLUP had won after a very even match.
