Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kerimhan Artuç started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Gülsehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umur Olcay to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Türker Onursan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurtuluş Samsun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türker Onursan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cengizhan Ersoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Artuç in the 13th minute of the match. Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Türker Onursan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Türker Onursan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Kerimhan Artuç reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cengizhan Ersoy. The goal made the score 1-0. If Türker Onursan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Kurtuluş Samsun's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Asım Eldemir fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kerimhan Artuç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengizhan Ersoy having to interfere. Gülsehir's Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Onursan in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Muzaffer Yabgu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kerimhan Artuç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muzaffer Yabgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Türker Onursan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Gülsehir's goalkeeper Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muzaffer Yabgu. Asım Eldemir struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cengizhan Ersoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gülsehir. İnanç Karakaya charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İnanç Karakaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kurtuluş Samsun getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. İnanç Karakaya hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doğan Cevan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İnanç Karakaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Türker Onursan sent off a good shot on target. Muzaffer Yabgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Kurtuluş Samsun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Nihat Özalpman to maneuver through the defense. Asım Eldemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurtuluş Samsun's Muzaffer Yabgu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Türker Onursan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtuluş Samsun. Asım Eldemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gülsehir's Kerimhan Artuç got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gülsehir's Asım Eldemir got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kerimhan Artuç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengizhan Ersoy having to make a save. Türker Onursan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kurtuluş Samsun had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
