Celtikci's Afşin Aldemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencay Zorlu in the 5th minute of play. Afşin Aldemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kemal Vafi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Günay Başarman got free with Afşin Aldemir in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Günay Başarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşin Aldemir having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Posof JK's zone, Mustafa Birol Asutay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altay Şafakgün came out of the goal and Mustafa Birol Asutay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lemi Revha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Şafakgün having to interfere. Afşin Aldemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Zorlu in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lemi Revha in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altay Şafakgün saved Posof JK from getting behind. Altay Şafakgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Tapgaç in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lemi Revha in the 34th minute of play forced Posof JK's goalkeeper Altay Şafakgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Posof JK defense, Lemi Revha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Altay Şafakgün. The Posof JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Altay Şafakgün should have stopped the shot. Batu Cem Kiram's late challenge caught a Posof JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batu Cem Kiram helped the player get up and apologised. Batu Cem Kiram hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lemi Revha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtikci's supporters rose to their feet, but Lemi Revha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altay Şafakgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Celtikci were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berkant Tapgaç to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gencay Zorlu sped through Celtikci's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afşin Aldemir. Afşin Aldemir came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Posof JK's Günay Başarman. But to his dismay, Günay Başarman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Berkant Tapgaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Şafakgün having to interfere. If Gencay Zorlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Celtikci fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Posof JK a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berk Vahdet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Celtikci's Afşin Aldemir. 3-1. In the 73rd match minute, Celtikci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deniz Coşkun to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Posof JK's Gencay Zorlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afşin Aldemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gencay Zorlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lemi Revha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Altay Şafakgün made a huge save. When Lemi Revha came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Celtikci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lemi Revha couldn't finish the play. When Berkant Tapgaç came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Celtikci fans jumped to their feet. The Posof JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Celtikci had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
