No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İstemihan Bayramoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akın Özyurek in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acun İmralı saved Kulp JK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Kulp JK's İlyas Yiğitcan got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Kulp JK booed when Galatabahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturalp Batır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kulp JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatabahçe the free kick. If Ahmet Hayri Erben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Ahmet Hayri Erben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatabahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hayri Erben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galatabahçe's Akın Özyurek got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatabahçe's goalkeeper Emre Dengiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galatabahçe had played much better football throughout.
