Seyfi Akaltan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Tayyip Tunçdağ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kıraç Duran came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Kecierengücü FK's Ercan Hedef. But to his dismay, Ercan Hedef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tayyip Tunçdağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyfi Akaltan in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Ercan Hedef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kıraç Duran was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With his leg Tayyip Tunçdağ managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Köycegiz's Seyfi Akaltan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kecierengücü FK's Tayyip Tunçdağ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Kecierengücü FK from getting a goal against them. Kıraç Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Tapık in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Veli Tapık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kecierengücü FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veli Tapık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayyip Tunçdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alperen İmdat in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Reşat Eymen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Veli Tapık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Ercan Hedef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veli Tapık to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Seyfi Akaltan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayyip Tunçdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfi Akaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Veli Tapık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kecierengücü FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veli Tapık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Ercan Hedef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veli Tapık in the 66th minute of play forced Köycegiz's goalkeeper Kıraç Duran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz's Reha Yücel got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Veli Tapık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıraç Duran came out of the goal and Veli Tapık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz's Sefa Şirzat got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Veli Tapık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıraç Duran came out of the goal and Veli Tapık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veli Tapık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıraç Duran having to interfere. Ercan Hedef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veli Tapık got free with Kıraç Duran in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th match minute, Kecierengücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercan Hedef to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Kecierengücü FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Köycegiz.
