In the 16th minute, Pazar's Haydar İshak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haydar İshak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pazar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haydar İshak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Tacettin Öge, was totally fooled by LIONES's Alpay Derelioğlu, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Feyyaz Karaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmi Başöz in the 28th minute of play. Pazar's Selmi Başöz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Çeliker Haseki hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Selmi Başöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pazar's Önder Coşkuner got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Selmi Başöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pazar's supporters rose to their feet, but Selmi Başöz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feyyaz Karaca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Yiğit Can Özsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Önder Coşkuner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyyaz Karaca having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selmi Başöz to make the kick off. Atilla Bumin Gurbet kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Selmi Başöz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pazar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmi Başöz couldn't finish the play. Feyyaz Karaca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selmi Başöz in the 59th minute. Selmi Başöz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Feyyaz Karaca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pazar. If Abdülhak Salim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Selmi Başöz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Feyyaz Karaca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selmi Başöz got free with Feyyaz Karaca in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Selmi Başöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacettin Öge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalay Beşer in the 97th minute of the match. LIONES succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pazar had controlled the match.
