Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gediz Gucu's Hatemi Özaktuğ started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Sami Nebahattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bünyan JK and the Gediz Gucu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Bünyan JK got a freekick which was hit by Sami Nebahattin. After a rather tough play, Gediz Gucu's Karahan Işıklı got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bünyan JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serter Tokalp in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Serter Tokalp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gediz Gucu's Mirkelam Özol did a great save. In the 11th match minute Serter Tokalp ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Mirkelam Özol. 1-0. Mirkelam Özol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlhan Türkşen's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Cüneyd Hançer hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. During the 20th minute of the match Sami Nebahattin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sami Nebahattin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 21 played minutes Bünyan JK got a freekick which was hit by Sami Nebahattin. Rüstem Müftüoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatemi Özaktuğ in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Gediz Gucu's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakup Kadri Derim. Yakup Kadri Derim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Yakup Kadri Derim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İlhan Türkşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirkelam Özol having to interfere. When Atilla Tarkan Yazgan fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bünyan JK's protests and gave Atilla Tarkan Yazgan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Bünyan JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tarkan Yazgan to maneuver through the defense. Mirkelam Özol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhan Türkşen in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yakup Kadri Derim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Yakup Kadri Derim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Özol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Bilge Tayguner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bünyan JK's İlhan Türkşen got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cüneyd Hançer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karahan Işıklı fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlhan Türkşen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Yakup Kadri Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bünyan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yakup Kadri Derim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uğur Candar's late challenge caught a Bünyan JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uğur Candar helped the player get up and apologised. Mirkelam Özol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakup Kadri Derim in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gediz Gucu's zone, İlhan Türkşen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirkelam Özol came out of the goal and İlhan Türkşen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakup Kadri Derim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mirkelam Özol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gediz Gucu's zone, Yakup Kadri Derim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirkelam Özol came out of the goal and Yakup Kadri Derim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Bünyan JK's İlhan Türkşen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirkelam Özol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Yakup Kadri Derim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Yakup Kadri Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bünyan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yakup Kadri Derim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağızhan Özdel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirkelam Özol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İlhan Türkşen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Yakup Kadri Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bünyan JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yakup Kadri Derim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirkelam Özol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes, Bilge Tayguner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gediz Gucu and the Bünyan JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gediz Gucu's Bilge Tayguner got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Bünyan JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
