Panos Iordanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Burak Hidayet in the 21st minute of play. Kadim Erşahan might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Cengiz Köksal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kadim Erşahan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Göktuğ Ulucan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Burak Hidayet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Iordanakis having to interfere. Panos Iordanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk İlkcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Korkut Özdağ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ula JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maksem SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ula JK's Korkut Özdağ got a free kick in the 36th minute. Panos Iordanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk İlkcan in the 37th minute of play. Arif Burak Hidayet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kadim Erşahan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Arif Burak Hidayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Iordanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksem SK's Arif Cengiz Köksal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadim Erşahan in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Ula JK booed when Maksem SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Oruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ula JK's Göktuğ Ulucan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Cengiz Köksal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktuğ Ulucan in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Gafur Işıklar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Ula JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Varol Elmacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Ayberk İlkcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maksem SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ayberk İlkcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ayberk İlkcan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Maksem SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayberk İlkcan couldn't finish the play. Panos Iordanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Burak Hidayet in the 75th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Panos Iordanakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Ula JK's Kadim Erşahan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Cengiz Köksal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Murat Tunçöven was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ula JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ayberk İlkcan got free with Panos Iordanakis in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Şefik Sadiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arif Cengiz Köksal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göktuğ Ulucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
