Abdurrezzak Boysel went to the wrong direction when Hami Başar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Demir Şahinalp made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batuhan Mirac during the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Hami Başar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdurrezzak Boysel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Medellin Academy's zone, Türker Şahbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrezzak Boysel came out of the goal and Türker Şahbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gencal Kuntman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Demir Şahinalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdurrezzak Boysel was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Kula's Türker Şahbey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdurrezzak Boysel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Kula booed when Medellin Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enis Behiç Sidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdurrezzak Boysel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demir Şahinalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Medellin Academy's Abdurrezzak Boysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demir Şahinalp in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Serter Kazım managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medellin Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Serter Kazım was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naim Hirfanlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enis Behiç Sidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çelebi Ulukut hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Gencal Kuntman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demir Şahinalp in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdurrezzak Boysel saved Medellin Academy from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
