Kadim Erşahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Haktanır having to interfere. Panos Iordanakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Halil Can Genişyürek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Göktuğ Ulucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Haktanır having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in karsspor's zone, Kadim Erşahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Haktanır came out of the goal and Kadim Erşahan tried to chip the ball over his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Göktuğ Ulucan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ula JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Göktuğ Ulucan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 55th match minute, karsspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tarkan Songur to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kadim Erşahan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Haktanır was relentless in the 58th minute of the game.
